Bed and Breakfast in Nobleton - Main 2

1) Where are you located? How do you get there?

We are along Hwy 27 midway between Nobleton and Schomberg in King Township. We're just north of Woodbridge, west of Aurora, and accessible via Hwy 400's King exit. Our B&B is steps away from a tiny lake (Bells Lake) and surrounded by horse ranches and farms along rolling hills.

Please click 'DIRECTIONS' on the bottom left corner of the home page and use Google Maps for driving instructions.

On your GPS, enter our address (20 Bells Lake rd) under the town of Schomberg, Nobleton, or King or  locate 20 Bells Lake B&B under accommodations in your Points of Interest list.

3) What's there to see or do in your location?

The most popular attractions within driving distance are the McMichael gallery, Canada's Wonderland, lots of golf, shopping, as well as cinemas and sports venues in Woodbridge, Bolton, Newmarket, and Aurora. Equestrians stay at our B&B to compete at Caledon Equestrian Park or have their training at nearby ranches.

We have many European visitors who use our home as a base and then take day-trips to Toronto, Niagara, Blue Mountain, and lake country in the north and northwest.

4) What is the cancellation policy and how much deposit is required?

We usually require 7 days' notice for a cancellation. However, for bookings that are booked more than 90 days ahead, we require 60 days' cancellation notice. Providing your contact and Visa or Mastercard info holds your room (no charges until checkout). Please understand that your credit card could be charged for the entire fee in case of a no-show or a late cancellation.

5) Are pets allowed?

We love pets but we had to give up our own beloved beagle to operate the B&B. And so, please find a means to leave your pet in someone else's care during your stay at our B&B.

6) Is taxi available? Do you provide airport transport services?

A reputable and reliable local cab company has been driving our guests to/and from local destinations - including the airport - for many years. They require 20 mins advanced notice.  From the airport, we advise to simply commission any of taxi or limo services at the arrivals area to take you to our B&B.

7) Are you accessible via public transit?

The most enjoyable mode of transportation in horse country is, of course, riding a horse! Biking is good too, whether motor or leg-powered.  But driving around is what gives the best bang for the buck, allowing you to enjoy nature, culture, and heritage, not to mention the beautiful rolling hills, in the most efficient way possible.  Beyond these, taxi service is another option.

A local branch of a name-brand car rental firm gives a 10% discount to our guests and even picks up and drops off our clients.

8) What time is check-in check-out?

The rooms are normally available at 3 pm. You're welcome to drop your bags anytime earlier.  If the previous nights' guest check-out early, we could make it available as early as noon if required. Since the B&B is our home, there is usually no issue with a late check-in if you give us some advanced notice.
Check-out is usually 10:30 am but can be easily extended to 12 noon with sufficient notice.

9) How does the spa work?

Our private whirlpool is available on a scheduled-use basis for all guests, with priority to the occupants of the Romance suite and of guests on a romantic stay.
Local partners come to the B&B and provide massage, reflexology, couples yoga, and other services all done in our premises. Because the providers actually do their services elsewhere, they are booked in advance. Please click 'SPA' at the bottom center of our home page for more info.

10) Do you do weddings?

While our specialty is to provide accommodations for attendees of wedding events at nearby venues, we also have a means to hold small weddings and other socials at our premises. The indoor facilities would be ideal for a size of 25 - 40 attendees. By setting up a tent on the property grounds, a larger contingent of up to 100 or 150 people can be accommodated. Please contact us and arrange for a visit to evaluate the options available for you.

11) Do you have any availabilities?

Please use our ‘Contact Us’ page to continue with your inquiry. Alternatively, if you are already decided on the room type and date, click the ‘BOOK NOW’ feature on the top right corner of our home page

...thank you for taking in two bedraggled paddlers. After sleeping on granite rocks in Georgian Bay and in a decrepit motel in Collingwood, the Bells Lake B&B was a lovely oasis for us to regroup for our reentry to life in Pittsburgh. We still talk about your salmon omelettes and muffins...
